Silver will tarnish over time when it comes into contact with the air, moisture and chemical products that we use on our skin. But don’t worry, all it usually needs to bring it back to looking its best is a shine with a silver cleaning cloth. I put a small cloth in with each purchase so you have one to hand when you want your item to look its best.

If you purchase an item which has patina on it, this will change over time. I do add a layer of renaissance wax which is kind to the skin and protects the patina but it will wear away over time and if you polish the piece up.
