Beginners Workshops in Silver Clay - A great Mothers Day idea
Friday 21st March 2025 10:30-15:00
At The Potters Wheel, Wallingford
This course costs £65 and is available to purchase in my shop.
We cover the basics of using silver clay while using basic tools and making simple pendants and/or earrings. Due to the timing of the workshop you may wish to consider making a present for Mother’s Day, but this is not essential. A range of cutters and textures will be available for use. The price of the workshop includes 5g of Art Clay Silver. It also includes earring hooks, jump rings and a sterling silver chain so you can leave wearing your piece(s) of jewellery or have it ready to gift.
The pieces will be kiln fired and there will be a break for lunch at this time.
NB This workshop is aimed at those who have never used silver clay before, however if you have had a go before but wish to come along and take part you are more than welcome. There won’t be the opportunity on this workshop to make rings or stud earrings: These require more advanced techniques and equipment and may be covered in future workshops.
