Edelweiss collection
Inspired by my time in Switzerland I love making my two versions of the Edelweiss. As each one is handmade it is unique.
Edelweiss has become a symbol of love, courage and bravery as soldiers are reported to have climbed high into the Alps to pick an Edelweiss flower to give to a loved one before heading off into war.
Wildflower Pendants
These pendants are inspired by the wildflowers growing in the fields and hedgerows around me in Oxfordshire.
The skies here go on for ever (no big hills!) and the flowers seem to reach high for those wide blue skies.
Ginkgo Cascades
There is a large Ginkgo Biloba tree in the museum grounds at Woodstock, Oxfordshire. It reigns over a garden which contains the footprints of dinosaurs and indeed fossils show that Ginkgo trees existed 170 million years ago. Who can help being inspired by such a successful survivor.
