Handmade from silver clay (.999) I have developed two edelweiss designs; fully open and opening. Even within these designs each flower varies slightly so I like to show you each flower and let you choose your favourite.
The Edelweiss captured my attention when I lived in Switzerland. It is their unofficial national flower and grows high in the Alps and seems to cling to rock faces. It earned the reputation as a symbol of love, bravery and courage when soldiers braved the Alps to bring a flower to their loved one before heading off to war.
Size ca 24 mm diameter
Each Edelweiss is supplied with a 45cm sterling silver chain (.925) and simply wrapped in acid free tissue paper and placed into an organza gift bag.
